This is a composition that I created from a photograph that I took while vacationing in Savannah, Georgia.  It is a photograph of my favorite uncle, seated at a very nice restaraunt that we ate at. It took me a great deal of time to work on this image. I used a number of photoshop filters to create the composition that you see here. The end result was something that I am very happy with.

I really enjoyed creating this fractal inspired composition using photoshop. What I like in particular is the rich coloring and the intense glowing effect.  I could make these images all day long  as they really get my creative juices flowing. With the use of brushes and layer effects, you can create one too!

Lately, I have been inspired by some tutorials I have encountered at psdtuts.com that taught me how to create brilliant fractal art. So for the past few nights I have been creating some real fun compositions with brushes, layer effects and the pen tool. If you are not hip to graphic design, you should know that this was created with Adobe Photoshop and it was done quite simply.  In the coming weeks I plan on publishing my own tutorial on how to create images such as the one above. I do my fractals a little bit different than the way I was taught. I hope to share with you some of these techniques but for now, enjoy the images.
